ITINERARY
Day 1: Cochin – Amman
Arrive Amman airport, Meet by our representative. Proceed to the Emigration and customs formalities. Transfer to Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Madaba – Mount Nebo – Sheikh Hussein Bridge – Nazareth – Cana
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Visit Madaba and Mount Nebo. Madaba: “The City of Mosaics. In many respects Madaba is a typical East Bank town which differs in one major aspect: underneath almost every house lies a fine Byzantine mosaic. Madaba’s chief attraction – in the contemporary Greek Orthodox church of St. George – is a wonderfully vivid, 6th-century Byzantine showing the entire region from Jordan and Palestine in the north, to Egypt in the south. Mount Nebo : The trip south of Amman along the 5,000 years old King’s Highway is one of the most memorable journeys in the Holy Land, passing through a string of ancient sites Jordan, the memorial of Moses, and the presumed site of the prophet’s death and burial place. From a platform in front of the church one can enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Proceed to Sheikh Hussein bridge .Arrive Sheikh Hussein border .Complete the customs & emigration formalities. Proceed to Israeli side. Enter into Israel. Complete the Emigration & Visa formalities. Meet by our representative. Lunch at restaurant. Visit Nazareth the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We also stop by Joseph’s workshop. Visit Cana where Jesus performed his first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Check in hotel. Dinner at restaurant, Overnight.
Day 03: Sea of Galilee–Capernaum–Jordan River–Nazareth – Bethlehem
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Mount Tabor, Capernaum (the centre of Jesus’ ministry after he left Nazareth) stop at Tabgha – the Church of the Multiplication (of the Five Loaves and Two Fishes) and the Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. Drive through Galilee, and ride in a Galilean fishing boat. Visit St.Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter, and Mensa Christi. Lunch at restaurant. Visit Yardenit on the Jordan River, the traditional Baptismal site. Visit Jericho, Mount of Temptation and Sycamore Tree. It is the place where Jesus stopped on the way to Jerusalem on the Eve of the Passover, and where Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house. Proceed to Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Ein Karem- Old City of Jerusalem–Golgotha–Wailing Wall – Dead Sea
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Visit Ein Karem, the Birthplace of John the Baptist, then continue pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus cured the crippled man. Walk through the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. Visit the Pilate’s Judgments Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation (where the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head), the Ecce Homo Arch and the Convent of the Sisters of Zion. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from a distance with two silver domes. Visit Golgotha & the Tomb of Jesus Christ. After old city visit Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion. Lunch at restaurant. Proceed to Dead Sea, where we stop at a private beach. It is the lowest spot on earth and do not miss the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. Move to Bethania, the Town of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Visit Lazarus’s Tomb. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Mount of Olives-Gethsemane-Bethlehem
Breakfast at hotel, Proceed to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the sanctuary of Pater Noster Ascension. Walk along the Palm Sunday road down to the chapel of Dorminous Flevit (where Jesus wept over the destruction of Jerusalem) and Garden of Gethsemani.(where Jesus prayed while Judah betrayed him to the Romans). Visit the Basilica of agony, Tomb of St. Mary, Visit the Cenacle – Last Supper Room, the tomb of King David, Church of St. Peter of Gallicantu,( which symbolizes Peter’s denial of Jesus as he has prophesied at the Last Supper) and visit the traditional house of High Priest, Caiaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned. Move to Bethlehem to visit the Shepherd’s field, in the Judah province. Lunch at Restaurant. Visit the Church of Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus and the City of David, Manager Square, Crusaders Cloister, Grotto of St. Jerome and the Milk Grotto. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Taba
Breakfast at hotel. Check-out hotel. Proceed to Taba. Lunch at Restaurant. Enter into Egypt after formalities proceed to Hotel. Check-in hotel. Enjoy the beaches of Red sea Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Taba – Sinai – Cairo
Breakfast at hotel Checkout, proceed to visit Sinai Mountains set beneath the mountain where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments. It has been one of the world’s great centers of religious pilgrimage for over fifteen centuries. Visit St Catharine monastery, Burning Bush, Mosses well. Lunch at restaurant. Proceed to Cairo Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Cairo
After Breakfast visit the old churches of Cairo and Egyptian Museum. Evening, a cruise on the River Nile. Dinner on board. Enjoy the shows on board. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 09: Cairo
Breakfast at hotel and checkout. Visit Egyptian Pyramids, Sphinx, then proceed to airport.
Day 10: Cochin
Arrival at Cochin Airport.
